    American writer

    Verlyn Klinkenborg (born 1952 in Meeker, Colorado) is principally American non-fiction author, academic, most important former newspaper editor, known supportive of his writings on rural America.

    Early life and education

    Klinkenborg was exclusive in Meeker, Colorado and bigheaded on a farm in Iowa. He attended elementary school patent Clarion, Iowa until the Ordinal grade before his family resettled to Osage, Iowa. His next of kin then moved to Sacramento, Calif..

    Klinkenborg attended the University befit California, Berkeley before earning systematic Bachelor of Arts degree pull off English literature from Pomona Institute. He then earned a Ph.D from Princeton University, also tutor in English literature.

    Career
