16 Of The Most Gorgeous and Talented Race Car Drivers Ever
Most people have considered motorsports a man’s sport ever since the beginning of the automobile age. However, despite the domination of men in racing, there have always been female racers who have proved girls can drive just as fast as boys, and sometimes even faster.
The most popular female racer is Danica Patrick who retired early in 2018. She has established herself as one of the hottest racing drivers, as well as one of the hottest female athletes in general. Danica is a successful retired NASCAR driver and the first woman to win an Indy Car Series race. Due to her good looks and style, she is also a successful model and advertising spokeswoman.
However, she is not the only hot female driver in motorsports. In fact, there are more beautiful, capable women behind the wheels of those powerful race cars than you think. So here are the hottest female race car drivers who combine good looks with talented performance driving. Although Patrick retired, here are 16 capable female racecar drivers ready to take the reins.
16. Susie Wolff
Wolff is a British race driver who was active in Touring car races, especially in the highly competitive, exciting DTM championship. She came from a motorcycle background but chose to move to cars. She started in go-kart championships and then in the Formula Renault and Formula Three series.
From 2006 to 2012, Wolff participated in the DTM championship behind the wheel of a Mercedes. In 2012 she moved to Formula One as a test driver for the Williams Formula One team. Wolff married Toto Wolff, executive director of the Mercedes AMG Formula One team, and the couple had a child in 2017. This means that Wolff is on parental leave from racing, but race fans are sure she will be back behind the wheel of a race car soon.
NASCAR gets a new, beautiful face
She’s got the face of an angel and the foot of a speed demon.
Gorgeous model Maryeve Dufault will become the first Canadian woman to compete in a NASCAR race when she makes her debut in the Nationwide Series NAPA Auto Parts 200 in Montreal Saturday.
The 29-year-old Quebec native, who once donned curve-hugging bikinis as Miss Hawaiian Tropic International, is looking forward to hugging the curves of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve racetrack in her Dodge Charger racecar this weekend.
“I am there to race and to give everything I got,” Dufault told The Post during a telephone interview yesterday.
The comely Canadian will be competing against NASCAR stars like Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Danica Patrick, who is expected to race full-time in the Nationwide Series in 2012.
But Dufault said she’s not racing for the chance to beat out fellow stockcar sexpot Patrick.
“I am not going there to beat Danica in any way, I am going there to beat competitors,” Dufault said.
Dufault inherited her love of speed from her father, a motorcycle racer in Quebec. She started off racing bikes at age four, then turned to go-kart racing at age 8 before graduating to driving formula cars in competitions like Formula BMW USA.
She started racing in American stock cars’ ARCA Series this year, where she notched a top-10 finish at the Chicagoland Speedway in June.
Dufault, who now lives in California, spends her downtime racing go-karts to feed her need for speed.
“I just never, ever give up,” said Dufault.
She said the money she made from modeling gigs, which include a stint as a “Price Is Right” girl and appearing in commercials for Honda and Dodge, went straight to her racecars.
“I wasn’t buying myself clothes. I was buying tires,” Dufault said. “I am a racer who uses modeling jobs to pay my bills.”
Her experience competing in the “macho” ARCA series – where a few male drivers roughed up her car – toughened her up, she said,
“My
This Former Bikini Model Will Race In The NASCAR Nationwide Series Next Month
Maryeve Dufault is set to become the first Canadian woman to race in the NASCAR Nationwide series next month at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal.
The 29-year-old Dufault used to model for Hawaiian Tropic, and was one of "Barker’s Beauties" on The Price Is Right.
"In the past, I've used the money I earned from modeling and photo shoots to buy tires and other things I needed to go racing," she told the Toledo Blade in May.
Dufault grew up in Quebec, and has raced anything with wheels — motocross, snowmobiles, motorcycles, go-karts, and more — since she was young.
"Sure, some people think it is crazy, but I know where my heart is. I'm a race car driver, and I want to be known first for what I accomplish on the track," she said.
She’s also done stunt work for the film Fast Girl, played in the 2005 Lingerie Bowl, and appeared in Maxim.
She’ll make her NASCAR debut on August 20.
