Bhawna Khanduja
Bhawna Khanduja is an Indian dancer, actress, and choreographer. Even though she was born and brought up in New Delhi, she moved to Mumbai to fulfill her dream. Although she was a talented dancer in her prime teenage, she was good in studies too.
Yet, she made up her mind to become a choreographer in the Mumbai entertainment industry. This dancer is well trained in various forms of dance like Chhau, Contemporary, and even Ballet. To fulfill her dream as a choreographer, the first step she took was to participate in India’s best dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance’ (2013), which noted choreographer Remo D’Souza as a judge.
It is Remo D’Souza who spotted her in this reality dance show and trained up her in various dance forms. Thus, her first recognition came with her participation in ‘Dance India Dance,’ she got noticed for her performances.
It was later on, Remo had selected her to work in Karan Johar’s movie ‘ABCD’ in which she was a part of the group dancer.
When she participated in ‘Dance India Dance’ (Zee TV), she told the audience that dance is her passion and even Remo felt that she had all the qualities to become a good dancer. When she participated in the contest, she was from New Delhi.
Her acrobatics in the dance show and the athletics steps that she took to perform the festive themes of folk dance were awesome! In this contest, she not only performed solo dance but even duet. She performed a duet ballet performance with her co-partner, Melvin, both of them performed on the song 'Prem Ki Naiya.' Bhawna Khanduja also performed another duet with co-partner Sanam before actor Mithun Chakraborty, a judge.
She was seen in Season-8 of the Jhalak Dikhla Jaa along with her partner Vivian Dsena. Both of them got eliminated on August 29, 2015. Later on, she was a choreographer behind the camera for Season-9 of the Jhalak Dikhla Jaa program (Coors TV).
